Sri Krishna says in Chapter 7 of the Bhagavad Gita, “I make and unmake this universe. Apart from Me nothing exists, O Arjuna. All things, like the beads of a necklace, are strung together on the thread of My consciousness, and are sustained by Me.”

All that exists is a manifestation of God’s own consciousness. We need to become conscious of Him as our own deepest reality; to realize Him, hidden in the depths of our being, beneath the restless waves of our unceasing thoughts, desires, and ego-directed ambitions.
